2020-2021 Horse Advisory Committee- Needs your input and help!

Greetings 4-H Families, 

The Horse Advisory Committee, who is responsible for organizing county horse shows will be meeting August 22, 2020 at 10 am in the Cooperative Extension Office, 820 E. Cottonwood Ln, Bldg. C.  At this meeting, new committee members will be chosen, horse show dates will be set, and rules for the 2020-2021 year will be voted on. We would like to invite you to attend if you are a certified leader or in process of certification and would like to join the committee! We also are looking for a minimum of 2 youth representatives. 

Our Pinal County horse rule book is developed as guidelines for our county horse program and does not take the place of the current Arizona State 4-H Horse Show Rules set forth by the State 4-H Advisory Committee. If you would like to propose a rule change for PINAL COUNTY, please submit them in writing, to the Pinal County HAC rule book committee at the email listed below.  Proposed changes will be discussed and voted on at the August meeting.

Where:                       P&M Arena, 11404 E. Brown Rd, Mesa, AZ 85207  
                                                
Registration:              8am- 8:30am  

Show Start:                9am 

Pre-Registration Due: Horse Registration Online:  Monday, January 27th, 2020 by 5pm via Google Form 
  Online registration You will receive an email verification that form was received. 

Please be sure to register for the appropriate skill level (beginner, intermediate, Adv Jr, Adv Sr) for each discipline (English, Western, or Gymkhana).  Click here for a listing of riders and skill levels.

Horse Show Fees:  

• $5.00 - per class fee  
• $15 - late fee for any registration received after Monday, January 27th after 5pm
• $20 - arena fee per exhibitor
• $5.00 - skillathon fee

Sponsorship Packets —   Pinal County horse members are required to obtain $150 in sponsorship to be eligible for year end awards/buckles.   

• Donation/Sponsorship Packet

• Submit forms to:  Sponsorship forms are to be sent to @ email (pinalcounty4hhorse@gmail.com)
• Submit ad artwork to: pinalcounty4hhorse@gmail.com by January 24th.

                       

To continue our success, we want to remind all families that 4-H is run by all families and your help is required at every show according to the rule book.  Sign ups will available at the morning meeting day of show.
