Hello 4-H Families,
Our January meeting minutes have been posted on our blog. We missed seeing several of you at the January meeting.
Here is a recap:
We used the January meeting to also begin working on deco for the fair booth. The booth will be set up during fair week to showcase our club in the county.
The theme is 4-H Grows Here, and We've got a good thing growing here!
We painted large cutout flowers to represent one for each member. If you weren't at the meeting we still painted one for you. We will need a headshot photo of each member so that we can print a 4x4 to attach to the large flower. If you can please send those to Michelle no later than February 1st. This is for EVERY club member. We want you to be a part of the fair booth. The club is paying for the printing of the photos.
We are in need of deco for the booth: Garden gloves, tools, etc... if you have any to donate please bring it to the February 17th meeting. The club did vote and did set aside up to $200 to assist with printing photos, and purchasing supplies if we do not have anyone that has items to let us borrow.
Fair is a fun time for the kids to showcase their talents in the exhibit hall!!
The kids voted on photography entries. The club will pay for printing with 5x7 or 8x10 of photography entries to enter. The fair book should be released soon so that you can see the categories that you can capture! You as the parent, will be responsible for signing up in ShoWorks the entry and getting it turned in at fair (according to the deadlines)
Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo- The club voted on volunteer tshirts to be worn by those who are volunteering during the rodeo weekend. Shirt orders will be placed Monday at noon. If you have not got your order sizes to Michelle, please do so by then.
February Meeting is - 2/17/2023
We will be working on more items for the fair booth and will give a run down on how the rodeo weekend will work.
Thank you,
Michelle
